Country powerhouse and three-time consecutive CCMA Award winning Entertainer of the Year Dallas Smith releases a fresh take on his hit song “How Do You Miss Me (feat. Alexandra Kay)” available today via Big Loud.
“Alexandra has been on my radar for a while,” shares Smith. “Her energy and distinct voice breathe new life into the track, and I think fans are really going to love it.”
“Working with Dallas on this song has been an absolute honour,” shares Alexandra Kay. “He’s such a powerhouse in country music, and getting to put my own spin on a song that already resonates with so many people was really special. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”
Kay’s electrifying vocals transform the post-breakup anthem into a dynamic duet. The song is two-time JUNO Award winner Smith’s next Canadian country radio single, where he holds the record as the only artist ever to achieve 14 No. 1 hits. This version reimagines the fan-favourite from Smith’s self-titled first full-length album with Big Loud Records, which has already delivered two No. 1 singles: “Use Me” and “Fixer Upper.”
Produced by longtime collaborator Joey Moi, Smith, a 2025 JUNO Award nominee for Country Album of the Year, has been praised for blending arena-ready rock energy with contemporary Nashville storytelling (Holler). The album features songwriting contributions from HARDY, Cole Swindell, GRAMMY-nominated Ashley Gorley and ERNEST, and GRAMMY-winning Hillary Lindsey.
Logging a storied career, Smith who began as the front man of Platinum-selling rock band Default has now earned 21 Gold-certified singles, nine Platinum-certified singles, and four Gold-certified albums, alongside more than 640 million global streams and over two million album equivalents to date.
