Award-winning Canadian country star Matt Lang is turning heads and making waves in the country music industry, with some of the biggest names in Nashville and beyond taking notice. Today, the talented singer-songwriter from Maniwaki, Quebec, is announcing an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with Anthem Entertainment, a management deal with renowned River House Artists in Nashville, and a booking deal with the powerhouse agency WME. Together, these major partnerships create a trifecta of elite representation, setting the stage for Lang’s breakthrough in the Nashville music scene. These teams will also work closely with Agence Ranch, Preste and Invictus, who represent Lang in Quebec and across Canada.
Lang’s rise to prominence is nothing short of remarkable. Since releasing his debut self-titled EP in 2018, he has amassed over 50 million streams, scored three Top 10 radio singles and earned numerous accolades. His impressive achievements include a Gold Ticket Award from ADISQ for selling over 50,000 concert tickets on his More tour, a Gold-certified single for his Billboard chart-topping smash hit “Getcha” (which Lang also co-wrote) and multiple nominations, including three Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Award nods. A sought-after live performer, Lang has taken the stage at major events like Boots & Hearts Music Festival and the LASSO Montreal Festival and Festival d’été de Québec, where he opened for Luke Combs in front of 80,000 fans. He has also toured internationally, performing in Berlin at the C2C and Buckle & Boots Festivals in the UK.

Currently on tour and selling out venues across Canada, Lang is continuing to captivate audiences nationwide. His highly-anticipated new single, “Back To The Bar,” featuring Montreal DJ Mike Demero, is available now on all streaming platforms. Mixing country and EDM, “Back To The Bar” is an upbeat party anthem perfect for the club or your favourite honky tonk. Collaborating with chart-topper and TikTok star Mike Demero can only give this fun track bigger wings to reach more music fans. Written by Nate Smith, Lindsey Rimes and Jared Mullins, and produced by Danick Dupelle (Tebey, Tyler Joe Miller, Emerson Drive), Matt Lang, and Mike Demero, “Back To The Bar” is Lang’s first release since signing the three major deals.
“I have followed Matt’s career for the last seven years and saw firsthand his meteoric rise in the world of country music, fueled by his unique talent as a performer, his unstoppable work ethic, and unwavering dedication to his fans,” stated Gilles Godard, President of Anthem Entertainment’s Music Publishing division in Nashville. “Matt has an amazing future ahead of him, both as an artist and a songwriter, and Anthem is proud to represent his music on a global scale.”
“I am fired up to work with Matt because I truly believe he is one of one! He has built his own path in the music business. His fans respect and support him fully. The world needs to see how talented he is. I believe his level of artistry is something people will love on a global scale,” said Zebb Luster, River House Artists.
“We’re thrilled to join Matt’s team. His electrifying music and infectious energy on stage are sure to catapult his career to new heights,” said Becky Gardenhire, WME.
“These three deals mean so much to me and I am so excited for what 2025 can bring! It’s something I’ve been dreaming of for a long time, but I also wanted to take my time before taking that next step. I’ve had to work hard on learning English these past few years and I now feel ready to take what we’ve been building in Quebec outside of the borders. It’s so reassuring that Anthem, River House and WME all see me for who I really am and believe in the French guy from Maniwaki (QC) with a big dream. I couldn’t hope for a better team. I’ve never felt more ready and motivated for what’s to come,” said Matt Lang.
