World-renowned country music hitmaker Aaron Goodvin opens the door to a part of his life he’s never shared before with his heartfelt new single “Your Time to Stay.” Celebrated for crafting hits not just for himself but for other artists as well, Aaron Goodvin initially thought “Your Time to Stay” was meant to be a standout track for someone else
“It wasn’t until a few months later that I realized I had written a chapter from my life,” says Goodvin. “All relationships have ups and downs and my wife Victoria and I certainly had ours. Covid was a very tough time for us, and we came so close to ending it. It’s a miracle we are where we are today, still together, and closer than ever with a beautiful little girl, our new daughter, that has completely changed our lives forever.”
Goodvin has been performing the song during his shows across Canada and the U.S. over the past few months, and has seen the connection it has made with his audiences. “I started receiving DMs after shows explaining how this song changed people’s relationships and encouraged them to give it another go. For that reason, this song means so much to me and my family,” he says.
The song follows line dance sensation “Country Dance” and “Written All Over It” and will be included on his next EP release, arriving early next year.
