Renowned Canadian country artist Andrew Hyatt, is excited to be joining forces with rising stars Shawn Austin and Tyler Joe Miller to hit the road on the co-headlining Country Mixtape Tour.
The dynamic trio of long-time friends and captivating performers known for their individual chart-topping hits are thrilled to team up on the cross-Canada tour and deliver an entertainment experience fans won’t soon forget.
“I’m looking forward to letting people see what the three of us are bringing to this show. There’s a brotherhood and cohesiveness to the experience, all while individually bringing our distinct sounds,” shares Andrew Hyatt.
The 20-date tour launches in Victoria, BC on April 9th, and will take the trio across the country with stops in Edmonton, Regina, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal and more, before wrapping in Peterborough, ON on May 4th. Full list of dates are below.
The tour follows Andrew’s recently released acoustic EP L is For (604 Records), a collection of five acoustic tracks that focus on his personal experience with separation and betrayal. The EP delves into a more intimate side to Andrew then we have seen before, presenting each song with a vulnerable and emotionally charged narrative.
The EP includes the title track, “L Is For,” which tells the story of how Andrew’s marriage fell apart and sets the tone for the rest of the record. Last week, “L Is For” was the second most added track at Canadian country radio. The storytelling on the EP continues in tracks such as “Finding Firsts,” which reminisces on experiencing first moments with the person you once were in love with and “Give Up On Me,” an honest reflection of the past and seeing the relationship from another perspective.
Andrew Hyatt has rapidly achieved remarkable success and hit important milestones over the past few years, solidifying his presence in the country music industry. He has secured Top 10 positions on major market stations, amassed tens of millions of streams and video views, been recognized for awards including the 2022Canadian Country Music Association Award (CCMA) for Rising Star and received multiple Country Music Association of Ontario Award nominations. Last year, Andrew was nominated for the CCMA Award for Album of the Year for his highly admired EP Four Good Years(2023).
Andrew has also previously secured the highly coveted “Top of the Country” title from SiriusXM and has had the honour of performing on prominent festival stages and tours alongside renowned stars such as Dallas Smith, Dean Brody and Tim Hicks.
