“This video is kind of like a love letter to my home province of Alberta, as we get to showcase the sheer beauty it possesses including the majestic views of the Rocky Mountains, and of course horses. Lots of horses,” Kissel shares. “They are so powerful, yet graceful at the same time. And to see 9 year old Kenlee and her horse working together in perfect harmony is so inspiring. She’s a rock star! The song is about chasing your dreams and she is well on her way to being a world class barrel racer.”
The track has quickly gained momentum, becoming the #1 added single at Canadian country radio in its first week, and continuing to climb into the Top 20. Co-written with Nashville heavy weight Jesse Frasure, Kissel’s latest offering heralds the dawn of a new chapter of music. “Let Your Horses Run” gallops forth with an intensity that is both invigorating and inspiring, showcasing Kissel’s evolution as a songwriter and performer.
