CCMA Award-nominated artist, JoJo Mason kicks off the holiday season with his rendition of Leonard Cohen’s classic “Hallelujah,” available now via 604 Records. Since its original release, “Hallelujah” has resonated with listeners around the world, and with his version, Mason offers his fans a new sound yet maintains the heartfelt message and timeless emotions that listeners have come to know and love. Featuring lush instrumentation and delicate piano combined with his powerful vocal delivery, Mason’s interpretation of the song offers a fresh and contemporary take on the holiday favourite.
“This song has been a staple in so many people’s lives, and the different versions of this song have the ability to connect with so many different people,” shares Mason. “It’s one of those songs that has been there with you through something important in your life, whether the happiest times or the hardest times. It has resonated with me, and I guess I just wanted to thank this song for being there for me too.”
