Photos by Orest Dorosh – An unforgettable live show, rich vocal harmonies, millions of streams, multiple awards, and several hit songs…and the River Town Saints are just getting started. Ready with their next set of hits, in 2023 River Town Saints signed to Sakamoto Music, distributed by Warner Music Canada, releasing their debut label single “She Got That” which generated half a million streams in its first few months, and the cover of Apple Music’s Canada’s Country playlist for several weeks.
River Town Saints also have a lot to show for the past few years, including a top 10 hit with their single, “Bonfire”, multiple CCMA nominations, CMAO and Canadian Radio Music Awards, large festival appearances, and tours with Tim Hicks and Kip Moore. Their Top 40 singles “Long Time Coming” and “What Ya Doin’ Tonight” were featured as the Stingray Radio Trending Track and the Rogers Radio One to Watch in 2021.
The core of River Town Saints met through attending the same church, and picked the name based on the fact that they all grew up in “river towns” around the Ottawa area, and though it might be a stretch to call them saints, they are all great guys and good friends. A River Town Saints live show is an electric event, blending their obvious affinity for each other with high energy musicianship, and an extensive catalogue of hits. The band has played at some of the biggest festivals in the country, as well as numerous fairs, rodeos, fundraisers, and awards shows. River Town Saints have also been instrumental in raising over $50,000 for mental health and wellness in Ontario during the global pandemic.
