Award-winning Canadian country artist Matt Lang is excited to release his highly-anticipated forthcoming album All Night Longer, on May 10th via Symphonic Distribution on all streaming platforms.
Produced by Danick Dupelle (Tebey, Tyler Joe Miller, Emerson Drive), All Night Longer is an upbeat, feel-good album, which Matt considers his strongest body of work to date. The collection of songs reflects his attitude on tour and his true passion for performing for fans. A Matt Lang concert is a big party that could go on all night long, it’s about having a good time, leaving your troubles behind, and living in the moment with the people you love.
This theme continues throughout the EP as displayed in the album’s title track, “All Night Longer.” The single has seen great success following its release, crossing over 100,000 streams in just one week and reaching the Top 25 on Canadian country radio.
“For this third album, the thing I am most proud of is that I was able to involve my band in some of the recording and do it mostly at home, with Danick Dupelle producing it once again,” said Matt Lang. “This project is a team effort and I’m so proud of my team and the result. I can’t wait to perform these songs live and have country fans singing along this summer.”
All Night Longer also includes the irresistibly catchy song “Sweet On You” and the focus track “Over Getting Over You,” about pushing past wondering what went wrong in a relationship and moving forward to live in the moment after being down for too long.
Proudly from Maniwaki, QC, Matt journeyed to Nashville to record his first English-language album in early 2018. At that time, he didn’t speak a word of English, but the album that came as a result of that trip quickly shot to #1 on the iTunes Country Album chart. It included the singles “Love Me Some You” and “My Final Pour,” which have exceeded over 10 million streams to date.
In September 2019, Matt continued to gain momentum after winning the nationalSiriusXM Top of the Country competition, three awards at Québec’s Country Gala, aSOCAN’s Country Music Award, and received his first ADISQ nomination for English Album of the Year. In June 2020, he released his second EP More, which had four singles reach the Top 20 on Canadian country radio, including his popular tracks “Getcha” and“In a Bar.” That same year, Matt received his first Canadian Country Music Awards(CCMA) nomination in the Rising Star category and an ADISQ nomination for Live Show of the Year.
Last year saw Matt perform an impressive lineup of shows across Canada. He also released his successful covers album Moonlight Sessions, launched his spiced rumMoonlight, earned a Gold certification for his single “Getcha,” reached the Top 10 at country radio with “Never Met A Beer,” and was named the Male Performer of The Year at the 2023 Quebec Country Gala.
Showing no signs of slowing down, Matt looks forward to bringing his large-scale country music show to Montreal on May 9th to showcase his new album at MTELUS! Presented by Lasso Montréal, WKND 99.5 and WKND 91.9, the evening promises to entertain the crowd with many surprises in store such as different kiosks and activations to make guests feel like they are on Nashville’s popular Broadway Street.
Purchasers of the “Moonlight” package, which is now sold out, will enjoy an exclusive happy hour featuring a tasting of Matt’s rum and will meet with Matt before the show. Fans who purchased the “All Night Longer” package will have access to an exclusive after-party, including a musical performance by the group, The Wild Palominos.
