Platinum-selling, CCMA Award-winning country star Robyn Ottolini is heading Way, Way Back, announcing today a nine-date fall tour across Ontario and Montreal, kicking off November 6. Tickets to The Way, Way Back Tour go on salethis Friday, June 13, at 10 AM ET.
Uxbridge, Ontario’s Ottolini is celebrating the era that raised her, the early 2000s, with shows that will be packed with her chart-topping hits, brand new tunes and covers of the songs that first made her fall in love with music.
“There’s something about going back to the people who were there at the start of your journey that can make a moment and tour so special,” says Robyn. “So, I’m going ‘Way, Way Back’ to my homeland this fall to celebrate like the good ole days! Today’s tour announcement follows the release of her highly-anticipated single “Airplane Bottle,” a hilarious and horrifying recount of a first – and very much last – date. Fans have been clamouring for this one ever since Ottolini started teasing it on social media months ago, with longtime followers and new fans alike flooding the comments with their own first date horror stories (some even posting covers before the track officially dropped).
Taste of Country named it one of their “5 Best Country Songs of the Week,” while Holler declared it their “Spotlight Song of the Week,” calling it “the song of the week, of the year, of the rest of our lives!”
Earlier this month, Ottolini was named Female Artist of the Year at the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards – the fifth CMAO Award win of her career.
