Local Hay / Big Loud Records singer-songwriter Shawn Austin returns today with all-new EP Words, giving fans more of his signature feel-good hits on six new tracks. Available on all streaming platforms now, the collection features writing credits from country music superstars HARDY, Tyler Hubbard, Brian Kelley, reigning ACM Songwriter of the Year Ashley Gorley, and GRAMMY-winning songwriter Hillary Lindsey.
From up-tempo cruisers like “All The Money In The World” and Dallas Smith collaboration “Day After Day” to the introspective title track “Words,” Austin uses his distinctive, husky vocal grit to tap into the power words can hold.
With multiple Top 5 Canadian country radio achievements under his belt, Austin continues to prove he’s one of Canada’s fastest-rising voices in country. Having toured as support for reigning six-time ACM Group of the Year Old Dominion and 3X CCMA Entertainer of the Year Smith already, Austin hits the road this weekend for the kickoff of his cross-Canadian run as part of The Country MixTape Tour alongside Tyler Joe Millerand Andrew Hyatt.
