Nashville based MATTHIAS LAMPARTER releases ‘Concrete Cowboy’

Matthias Lamparter picked up a guitar at the age of eight, having bought his first with a $50 gift from his grandfather. By 12, he was already performing on stage, and by 15, he had joined his first real band, “Exit 81A,” named after the highway exit that led straight out of his hometown, Christiana, Tennessee.

At 6’7”, he stuck out like a sore thumb, hanging out with an older crowd, finding his way sneaking into bars and clubs, earning his stripes on lower Broadway, jumping onstage at Margaritaville, and anywhere he could play an acoustic set for tips.https://embed.music.apple.com/ca/album/concrete-cowboy/1883810807?i=1883810809

At 18, some bad decisions led to jail time, which pulled Lamparter off the musical path and back into the real world.  After his release, he got a ‘real job’ as an electrician, and eventually started a remodeling company. With the money he earned from his day job, he managed to fund his guitar collection and swapped high-end guitars and gear as a way to network and meet music industry people all over Nashville.

A chance meeting in 2019 with a DJ turned into a DJ/guitar hybrid duo, “Simply Majestic,” opening for other Nashville bands and playing festivals and events, including Bonnaroo.

With Simply Majestic fading into the background, Matthias started touring college circuits with a full band, pushing himself as the frontman instead of just the guy behind the guitar. Louder shows and bigger crowds. These years on the road really sharpened Lamparter’s skills as a prolific performer and songwriter.

In 2024, at a Christmas party, Lamparter crossed paths with producer Chris Silverio that set the next chapter in motion. They tracked his debut record “15 Seconds Of Fame” set to drop later this Summer at Doghouse Studio in Nashville.

Lamparter has spent years slipping out of back doors, making bad decisions, chasing second chances, and refusing to quit, no matter how far off track things got, and in 2026, he finally gets his redemption.
