Two-time 2026 CCMA Award-winning artist Nate Haller’s sophomore album, Can’t Stay Here, is out now on all streaming platforms, alongside his new single, “Called It.” Can’t Stay Here is Haller’s biggest musical statement yet and his first full-length release since his 2023 debut, Party In The Back. The 11-track project brings together Haller’s recent #3-charting duet “Backfire” feat. Tenille Townes with a collection of new songs, including the album’s latest single “Called It.” The new single, a hard-hitting breakup song Haller first sketched out in 2022 with labelmate and friend Griffen Palmer (Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban), come together on the new project alongside Christian Yancey (Josh Ross, Austin Snell) and Matt McVaney (Kane Brown, Jordan Davis).
The album’s title track, also co-written with Palmer, is the most personal song Haller has ever shared. Drawing on his longtime experience with anxiety, “Can’t Stay Here” gives the record its name and emotional centre, with a title that works on every level: a breakup, a bar you need to leave, or a headspace you’re trying to get out of.
Haller’s sophomore album arrives just hours after he kicked off the Hometown Heroes National Tour in Toronto last night, as direct support for Dean Brody and The Reklaws. The tour continues across Canada through November, with tickets available for select dates at hometownheroes.ca.
