ROBYN OTTOLINI releases “Oh, Canada,” her love letter to home

Platinum-selling CCMA Award-winning country singer-songwriter Robyn Ottolini has released “Oh, Canada,” a poignant tribute to her homeland and the emotional pull of pursuing dreams far from it (LISTEN HERE). Co-written with acclaimed songwriters Michael August and Jesse Slack (Owen Riegling’s “Moonshines”), and produced by Grammy-nominated Jordan Schmidt alongside Lenny Pey, “Oh, Canada” is both a patriotic anthem and a deeply personal reflection.

Ottolini performed the track at several events last week as part of the CCMA Awards in Kelowna, BC. Fans have been clamouring for its release since Ottolini started teasing it on social media to the tune of a quarter-million views.

“‘Oh, Canada,’ this song is for you!” says Ottolini. “It’s also for anyone who is proud of their roots and chasing a dream while missing home, no matter where you’re from. Being Canadian is such a big part of my identity—from growing up singing the anthem at school and cheering in the Olympics, to being in awe of the beauty of this land. ‘From the beaches of Tofino to the cliffs of St. John’s,’ this song is my love letter to the Great White North—and my promise to never forget it.”

Ottolini’s current radio single, the unapologetic tale of a disastrous first (and last) date “Airplane Bottle,” is climbing the charts at Canadian Country Radio – sitting at #35 and continuing to rise. The song has quickly become a fan favourite, leading to thousands of more followers, many dubbing her the “female Sam Hunt.”

This November, Ottolini will headline the “Way, Way Back” tour across Ontario and Montreal, bringing her deeply personal songs – and her powerful vocals – to the fans who’ve stood by her journey from the start. Today, Ottolini has revealed the talented mix of rising artists joining her on select shows: Parker Graye, Savannah Jade, Laila, Lucas Mason, Dave Sampson, Jessica Sevier, Tanaeya and Vibi.  A full list of dates can be found below.

ABOUT ROBYN OTTOLINI
In country music, the very best narratives are almost always lifted from life’s messy playbook. Evocatively, sometimes playfully articulating everyday wins and losses is something of a songwriting super-power, and it’s one wholly possessed by the Nashville-based, platinum-selling artist, Robyn Ottolini. Over five years, a quintet of EPs, and multiple dazzling singles, the trucker’s daughter from a blue-collar Canadian town has amassed more than 160 million streams – 60 million alone for her rip-snorting heartbreak smash “F-150,” which incinerated TikTok while cementing Ottolini’s status as a supremely relatable lyricist able to make the ordinary scan as extraordinary. Robyn is not only a CCMA Award winner, but has reached the #3 spot on Rolling Stones’ All Genre Viral Chart, and had three Top 40 singles on Billboard’s Canadian country chart. Ottolini has seen the likes of some of country music’s biggest festivals, and headlined shows across her native country, as well as opened up for Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, Breland and Tyler Rich, just to name a few.

Now, Robyn Ottolini is proudly independent, unrestrained and is releasing a clutch of electrifying, lived-in original songs all year long. More tunes to follow, leading to her hotly anticipated debut album. Rapturous fan responses to her new music suggests Ottolini’s star is rising.
